Organic Google Strategy

The trust you're building is already real.
It's time Google saw it too.

This outlines what shows up across the website and Google profiles right now, what's likely getting in the way, and the recommended starting point, with a review at 90 days before paid campaigns are reconsidered.

First, The Basics

Three different jobs

Paying Google doesn't help your organic ranking, they're separate things. Worth being clear on what's what.

Google Ads

Sponsored spots. You pay to show up, and it generally stops once a campaign's paused or the budget runs out.

Organic Search

Unpaid results. Google uses many signals and systems to assess relevance, usefulness and quality. Organic visibility is not tied to ad spend, but pages and positions can change for many reasons.

Google Maps

Your Business Profile and local results on Google Maps and Search. Google says local ranking is mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence. Reviews are one of several factors that can contribute to prominence.

The Good News

You're not starting from zero

Your Patch

Ormeau & Ormeau Hills

A clear area, and a clear goal: calls and appraisal requests.

Reputation

Real Reviews & Awards

Rhyss is 2026 RateMyAgent Ormeau Hills Agent of the Year, and 2025 realestate.com.au Ormeau Hills Top Agent.

Momentum

Results Worth Keeping

Recent sales are worth turning into lasting proof on your own pages, not just live listings that move on once sold.

There's already real proof out there, reviews, awards, results. Bringing more of that onto the website too, clearly credited to where it's from, is a clear opportunity.

3
The Blogs

Three of your blogs match Eview, word for word

Your blog looks busy, the archive had 50 numbered pages on 12 August. Three current posts were checked against the matching pages on Eview's site, and the full text matches exactly:

  • "How long-term planning benefits renters and owners alike"
  • "How to turn feedback from renters into improvements"
  • "State of the Market - Winter 2026"
LPC blog archive

Your blog archive right now, it looks active. When two pages share the same content, Google usually treats one as the main version, called the canonical, and right now these three point to Eview's page, not LPC's. It can't be said for certain that this is costing rankings, but every shared post is a slot where an original, Ormeau-specific article could sit instead.

Sorting It Out

What to do with the old blogs

  1. Nothing should be deleted yet. Once Search Console access is arranged, checking what's actually getting clicks is the logical first step.
  2. Sorting them into original, syndicated (shared with other agencies), and outdated is the recommended approach.
  3. Keep what's working. Once real traffic or enquiries can be seen, those should be improved first.
  4. For the rest, retiring, redirecting or merging pages is a website job to plan properly, not a delete-everything job.
  5. The shared-content setup with Eview should be reviewed with the website provider, with a view to replacing syndicated articles with a smaller, local-only plan.

The more each new blog leans on something nobody else can copy, a local observation, a real client story, an Ormeau or Ormeau Hills detail, the more useful and original it is.

4
Your Key Pages

A few pages worth improving

LPC homepage testimonials

Homepage: you've already got real testimonials like this on the page. The search description still uses the superlative "most respected", which is not independently substantiated. Google may use that description as the snippet, but often creates one from page content, so the wording should be reviewed.

Sell page

Selling page: the page already includes a recent-sales section. The opportunity is to add more Ormeau and Ormeau Hills detail, feature selected local results more prominently, and reference Rhyss's reviews with clear realestate.com.au and RateMyAgent attribution.

Property Management page

Property Management: the page does not name Melissa and its testimonial areas currently show no testimonials. Her public profile also carries her former role. Correcting her title and adding approved landlord stories are clear content recommendations.

Both Ormeau and Ormeau Hills already have their own pages live. Right now they're thin, missing a search description, and read almost identically to each other. Strengthening both with real local detail is one of the clearest opportunities available.

5
Trust & Local Signals

Keep the business details accurate and clear

An accuracy check across important profiles is worthwhile. LPC's business name, phone and website details should reflect the current business information. Address or service-area details should follow each platform's rules, rather than forcing the same public address everywhere. This supports clear customer information and compliant profile management, but it does not guarantee a ranking improvement.

6
The Competition

What established competitors have built over time

Selected public examples, not a complete competitor list and not a permanent view of search rankings.

JMO Property Group

Dedicated Local Page

JMO has a dedicated Ormeau Hills page and describes itself there as the leading local agency. That is JMO's own marketing claim, not independently verified market leadership.

Brett Reddell

Area Specialist Positioning

Brett's public site uses Area Specialist branding and includes Ormeau Hills. This is clear marketing positioning, not independent proof of ranking or dominance.

LJ Hooker Ormeau

17 Years In The Area

The local office states that it has served the Ormeau area for 17 years. The network's separate 1928 history should not be treated as the tenure of this office.

LPC's Public Proof

Reviews & Awards

LPC's realestate.com.au agency profile showed 5.0 from 29 reviews, while Rhyss's RateMyAgent profile showed 5.0 from 85 reviews, checked 12 August 2026.

LPC's opportunity: strengthen the existing suburb pages with original local insight, current results, clearly defined team roles and properly sourced reviews. This is a positioning recommendation, not a guarantee of rankings or enquiries.

Keeping It Going

One strong local piece each month

A manageable editorial starting point, not an SEO rule or a guaranteed route to better rankings.

A short monthly voice note could provide useful starting material for one original article, with related social or Business Profile content considered where relevant:

  • What's one property win this month?
  • What are buyers or sellers asking about in Ormeau or Ormeau Hills right now?
  • Anything happening locally worth mentioning?
A Few Blog Ideas To Start With
  • What Ormeau sellers should know before an appraisal
  • The sold story behind a recent Ormeau Hills result
  • Selling and buying at the same time in 4208
  • What a rental health check should actually cover
  • Ormeau vs Ormeau Hills: what's different for sellers?

The Next 90 Days

Three simple chunks

First 30 Days

Get The Basics Sorted

Arrange Google Search Console access and establish the current organic-search baseline. Existing GA4, Business Profile and enquiry data should be reviewed alongside it. LPC's website provider should also confirm how the shared Eview content is currently managed.

Next 30 Days

Focus On The Key Pages

Prioritise targeted improvements to the homepage, selling, appraisal and property management pages. The existing Ormeau and Ormeau Hills pages should also be reviewed and strengthened where required.

Final 30 Days

Publish & Tidy Up

Publish original, LPC-specific local content, correct outdated website information, and review important local directories and profiles for accuracy.

What's Search Console? It's Google's free tool for understanding how a website appears in unpaid Google search. It reports search queries, impressions, clicks, average positions and indexing information. Considered alongside GA4, Business Profile and genuine enquiry records, it can provide a much clearer picture of LPC's current organic visibility and website performance.

The current paid campaigns should remain paused while these foundations are addressed. Progress can then be reviewed after 90 days and again at six months, before LPC decides whether another focused paid campaign should be considered.

8
Measuring It

What's actually worth watching

Progress should be considered across four measurable stages. No single platform shows the full journey, so Search Console, GA4 and Business Profile data need to be matched with verified enquiry and business records.

VisibilityRelevant impressions and non-branded local searches
Organic TrafficClicks, click-through rate and priority landing-page visits
Genuine EnquiriesCompleted forms and verified phone calls
Business OutcomesAppraisals booked, listings won and revenue

Questions to revisit once the baseline is available:

  • Are relevant queries and priority pages appearing in Search Console?
  • Are organic visitors reaching the key pages in GA4?
  • Which calls and form submissions are genuine?
  • Which enquiries become appraisals, listings and revenue?
Bringing It All Together

Here's everything that needs to happen

1

Access to Google Search Console, the one new access required. Existing GA4 and Business Profile data can be drawn on alongside it.

2

Website or CMS access, or support from the website provider, for approved changes

3

Use Vault to record genuine enquiries and track them through to appraisals, listings and revenue

4

A review and refresh of the existing Ormeau Hills page, it's live, just thin

5

The specific fixes flagged on the homepage, selling and property management pages

6

One strong, original LPC-specific local article each month as a manageable starting point

Responsibilities

Who's responsible for what

LPC (Rhyss & Christine)

  • Use Vault to record genuine enquiries and track them through to appraisals, listings and revenue

LPC's Website Provider

  • Make approved website changes
  • Look into the team page issue
  • Update Melissa's role and its structured data
  • Review the Eview canonical tags and shared-content setup
  • Help with forms, tracking, redirects and technical changes

Your Niche (If Engaged)

  • Arrange and review Google Search Console access
  • Recommend and draft approved page content
  • Develop original local content from LPC's input

Google Business Profile management is already handled by Your Niche. Any additional Your Niche support listed above sits outside the current social media arrangement and could be scoped separately if that would help.

Here's what's recommended, to build stronger organic foundations.

This plan outlines the work recommended to strengthen LPC's organic Google foundations. Implementation sits outside the current social media agreement.

If you would like help putting any part of the plan into action, I can prepare a separate proposal outlining the recommended priorities, deliverables and costs 🙂
